What is a Stroke?

A stroke is actually a brain attack which happens when there is a sudden loss of blood flow to the brain or there is bleeding inside the head. Both these conditions can stop brain cell functioning and to the death of cells. When the nerve cells in the brain die, the part or organ of the body, they were controlling gets lost. People can lose vision, speech, memory, sensation etc. depending on which part the stroke effects.The chances of such strokes can reduce if you recognize them and take immediately help.

Types of Brain Strokes:-

There are two main types of Brain Strokes named Ischemic Stroke and Hemorrhagic Stroke. Let’s discuss them one by one:-

Ischemic Stroke:-

In Ischemic stroke, there is a blood clot in the artery which blocks the flow of blood and oxygen to the brain. In this stroke, the motive is to restore the blood flow in the brain as quickly as possible. Hemorrhagic Stroke:-
