An Epilepsy Awareness and Screening Camp was organized under the District Mental Health Programme (DMHP) at District Civil Hospital, Thane. The initiative was led by Deputy Director Dr. Ashok Nandapurkar, Civil Surgeon Dr. Kailash Pawar, and the Deputy Civil Surgeon. Dr. Deepak Aiwale was invited as the Chief Guest and addressed attendees on the importance of early diagnosis, treatment adherence, and reducing stigma around epilepsy. Rotary Club of Thane Urbania extended its support to the noble cause. The camp included consultations, guidance, and awareness sessions, benefiting numerous patients and families while promoting mental health awareness in the community.
